AKFJ is a collaborative dance production between visual artist and rhythmic gymnast Will French and Masha Hassan Adly. Revolving around the character and choreographic analysis of Russian rhythmic gymnast and Vladimir Putin’s secret life partner Alina Kabaeva as well as infamous actress, activist and proto-fitness influencer Jane Fonda.
The work delves into the choreographic aesthetics of athleticism and the way it is utilised as an agent of geopolitical and psychological warfare.
